Writer
An Austin Film Festival Winner, Catalyst Story Institute Winner, and one of MovieMaker Magazine’s 25 Screenwriters to Watch in 2023, Lillie Gardner was raised in the midwest before she studied writing and music at New York University. Her background as a pianist lends an elegant pacing to her prose and screenwriting. Often centered around women defying expectations in both contemporary and historical settings, Lillie’s writing explores how our belief systems can both help us and hold us back.
